Le Chai Villa is an old wine chai which has been extensively renovated to a high standard. It has 6 en-suite bedrooms, 1 of which is a double, the other 5 can be either made up as twins or doubles, in total accommodating up to 12 guests.  A large, open plan kitchen/dining room which leads out onto the extensive, split-level but private terraces, a heated 10m x 5m pool with a solar heated outdoor shower, BBQ and outdoor dining space.  There are 4 bedrooms upstairs leading off the salon and 2 bedrooms downstairs which are off a landing with a few steps into the rooms from the dining area.

A Chai (pronounced shay) is a building used for the production and storage of wine.

 

There is a 7th bathroom and WC downstairs as well as a utility room and a large, spacious salon/internet or sitting room with flat screen TV.  You will find excellent, high speed Wifi access throughout the property, terraces and pool area.

 

We are a rural location with easy access to local shops and services within a 10 minute car journey. The main town and airport of Bergerac is only 15 minutes away with a great choice of car hire facilities easily accessible.

 

We specialise in motorcycle tours, guided or self-guided, as the area is perfect for touring by bike or car.

 

Other activities on our doorstep include golf, horse riding, canoeing, stand-up paddle, walking and cycling along with wine tasting and the opportunity to visit numerous, historical and beautiful towns.

 

There are many, wonderful restaurants within easy access from the Villa and numerous markets selling a large range of local, fresh produce and lots of other interesting items.
