The Villa
Living Areas
The front door leads directly into the large Salon, with Internet TV access (you can log into your own Netflix, Amazon Prime or other Internet based applications) and seating for all 12 guests. It is always cool in the heat of summer and provides an ideal space to relax, read or play some games - all provided at the Villa.
The kitchen-diner is open plan and with its 2 sets of sliding doors, very light and airy. The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect to cater for all your needs. It has a double oven/microwave, 5 ring gas hob, dishwasher, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, American fridge/freezer with ice and cold water dispenser. There are plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils to cater for your group. There is also lots of space to store all your lovely foods items.
The dining area has a beautiful, handmade round table with a 'lazy susan' server and a couple of comfortable seats to relax and read with excellent light. You will also access the 2 downstairs bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms from the dining area via a few steps up into these bedrooms.
There is an additional independent downstairs bathroom and WC, with a bath and hand held shower to make it easier for bathing children. There is also a utility room with an additional sink and washing machine for your benefit.
Bedrooms
The Villa has 6 en-suite bedrooms to sleep 12 people maximum.
You will find 4 bedrooms on the first floor, which is accessed by stairs off the Salon and the remaining 2 bedrooms are accessed from the dining room on the ground floor, there are a few steps into each bedroom.
We have 1 standard double (140cm x 190cm) bedded room with the flexibility of offering the remaining 5 bedrooms as twin or large double beds, so twin beds - 90cm x 200cm or superking size double beds - 180cm x 200cm.
We provide all bed linen which includes mattress and pillow protectors and luxury, soft bed linen.
All beds have 4 pillows (2 per person) but you can request more if needed.
All bedroom windows have mosquito nets fitted as well as shutters to keep the hot sun at bay. There is also a hairdryer and a USB charging point in each bedroom.
Outside Areas
Through the large patio doors and outside the kitchen and dining area you will find a large, handmade table and benches, perfect for outside dining on this first level of terrace. You will also find a gas plancher/BBQ for easy access with food ready to be grilled! Gas for the BBQ is provided.
The next level of terrace, accessed via 4 steps, you will find shade and a comfortable seating area, again perfect to relax and read a book or have a siesta! Up 4 more steps to the pool area, where you will find a solar heated shower and a 10m x 5m heated pool which is exclusively for your use.
We have a range of outside games like table tennis, soft archery, football goal and a dedicated petangue pitch - perfect for the whole family/group which is set in approximately 5000m2 of garden. A short stroll up to the end of the garden and we have an elevated terrace area with panoramic views across to Bergerac - a perfect spot to relax and chill.
We are set in the middle of grape vines in a perfect tranquil area of the Dordogne.
Pool
We have a private, heated 10m x 5m swimming pool which has a constant depth throughout to make it a little safer for young ones and old ones alike - it also gives a level playing field if you are playing ball games in the pool!
There is also 1 wide step so that children can play or you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. There are sun loungers around the pool and some shaded areas too.
Facilities
We have off road parking and secure parking for motorcycles for peace of mind.
We provide a radio/CD player which you can connect to via Bluetooth to play your favourite music while sipping a gin & tonic, beer or wine and preparing your aperos for a relaxing early evening treat!
We provide 1 x bath towel, 1 x hand towel and 1 x pool towel for each guest, along with a bath mat for each shower/bathroom.
We also provide toilet rolls and cleaning materials.
